Pricing for dining at CRT will be going up. Also it will require 2 TS credits instead of one starting sometime at the end of January??
Breakfast: $31.99 Guests 10 and older $21.99 Guests 3-9
Lunch: $33.99 Guests 10 and older $22.99 Guests 3-9
Dinner: $39.99 Guests 10 and older $24.99 Guests 3-9
The payment policy will change to payment in full required at time of booking for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
And you can now book dining up to 180 days in advance, here is a quote from the other board.
"180 day Dine Booking Window
Effective today, Friday, October 28, 2005, WDW will start to publish a 6-month calendar of operating hours. Our website, disneyworld.com is being updated with the information today.
With this change, we will encourage guests to plan their itineraries, especially dining, farther in advance.
Effective immediately, the Dining booking window will increase to 180 days for table service locations.
All DRS availability should be updated before 7:00 am to reflect the 180 day booking window.
Children’s activity centers and special events, such as Neverland Club, Pirate’s Cruise, Wonderland Tea, are included in this change. Recreation and Tours are not changing at this time.
We will continue to offer WDW Resort Guests the benefit to book their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) when they call 180 days from their Resort arrival date."

Go to the Restaurant board on the Dis and you will find lots of threads on it.
People taking advantage of the 180 days out already and booking dining for Feb and March.
Also there have been posts about Disney's site going to be updated sometime today or very soon.
You know they are always quite behind on the times in informing everyone what we have already known for a good week or more.

Here is something from Deb's Allearsnet.com site
"Beginning February 1, 2006, dining at Cinderella's Royal Table will undergo several changes:
-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)
Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9. Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.
-- Dinner will become a fixed-price, set meal, also, hosted by the Fairy Godmother, who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.
Dinner: $39.99 ages 10 and up; $24.99 ages 3-9.
NOTE: Once these changes go into effect (February 1, 2006), payment in full with a credit card will be required at the time of booking for all meals at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made. All reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies.
Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan WILL be accepted at Cinderella's Royal Table meals, requiring TWO table service credits."

Yup. The news is true. I just booked the Epcot princess breakfast for the end of Feb, and got the YC/BC pirate cruise for our son.
Last time we visited, I quizzed my son to find out if he might be interested in the pirate cruise. I was a little worried about him not wanting to be left alone. We were staying at the Boardwalk, and that new Albatross cruise really caught my attention.
Unfortunately, by the time I gave it serious consideration, we were two weeks into the booking window. EVERY SINGLE PIRATE CRUISE for our trip week was booked solid. The YC/BC cruise only runs 1x per week and only takes 10 kids, so that didn't surprise me too much. But all of the GF cruises were booked, too.
So, I made it my mission to get him on that cruise this time. Mission accomplished. :)
Oh, and everyone may be interested to know that I got an operator immediately upon calling around 2:45pm et. Guess word of this change hasn't spread far yet. I'm expecting the lines to be really jammed once word gets out.

My friend did the breakfast this June and said the princesses were less than "real friendly." Maybe this latest outrageous increase means the princesses will be nicer :)
Don't mind me... I have waited all day for the carpet guy who never called to tell me he wasn't coming today, after all.

My DW just got off the phone and made all of our reservations (or whatever it is that Disney is now calling them) for our trip during President's week. We booked the CRT for February 24 because we already promised our youngest DD that we could go. We had to pay the full amount in advance. We also booked the California Grill and had to give a credit card to guarntee the reservation. "No Shows" are charged $20.00 per person.
Glad I found out about this today. I get the feeling that a lot of people will be calling at 90 days and find everything filled up already.

Thanks for the info HBC, was this related to the fact that it is a holiday week or is this a new policy?
cheers

What is the cancellation policy for CRT?
I have to say, the price is ridiculous. We've eaten there, and it was fine, but the princesses weren't "super-friendly" as you said, and $15 (old price) was crazy for a child's breakfast. $22 is absurd.

Regarding the price chage... good gravy. First they tell me my 9 and 10 year old sons (who incidentally eat like small crumb-peckin' birds) are adults; now Disney tells me my little princess will have to pay a heft(ier) fee to grace the palace with her presence.
Hmmppph.
My villa is lookin' beter and better all the time.

Sorry, no, and I don't think it includes tax either. Of course, that was for the old pricing, so I shouldn't speak so quickly. Maybe it's different now, but I doubt it.

This makes me happy that we did CRT on the October trip with my nieces. Now, I don't have to do it again, or pay that outrageous price. Between CRT and Crystal Palace, Crystal Palace wins hands down.

I Wonder if they have been taking dining reservations like that for awhile? When I tried to make our NYE ressies at the 90 day booking window and at 6 AM, I couldn't get into our desired location. In fact, I ended up with a very early dinner reservation at a different restaurant. I must say I was quite disappointed.

I called this am as I thought I was 180 days out on the May trip but I am 181 days out! GRRR! I asked about CRT and they told me as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner prices went up. Cindy will also be at Dinner now and as well as the pic's and goodies you get for the price you will also get a lithograph.

Evidently DVC MS didnt' get the word on the 180 day booking window, because when I called this morning, they were saying 90 days from check-in, and not 180. I was able to get ADRs for Cape May and Jiko for the days and times I wanted though.

How long did you have to wait? Are the phones looking backlogged, or were they pretty responsive? Or did you go through MS?

My friend called this morning after I told her about the 180 change. She was able to book all she wanted for the end of February. Had no trouble getting through to CRO (she is not a DVC member). I am not sure if MS is up on this latest change, but I called about something else earlier this morning and got through after a four minute wait.

I didn't have to wait long. I called back a couple times later again today to change things around and had little wait each time. I hadn't really given thought to our spring break plans yet so I kinda planned everything real quick. This threw me by surprise. I usually plan my meals for weeks before my booking window. It was nice to do all nine days though in one shot. :beaniepro

WDW dining CM told me that Fairy Godmother will be "hosting" dinner. I inquired if Cinderella would be present; and she indicated that individual Charactars are not guaranteed! For that amount of money, she'd better be there.
We've enjoyed the old system for dinner, wherein you ordered what you wanted & took your chances seeing the princess.
IMO, the choices for the Princess lunch menu are very limited, to say the least. I can only imagine what dinner will be. Of course, they could serve stale crackers & peanut butter & little girls would still be clamoring to attend.
