Vero beach after Wilma?

I just read on another forum a tiny little tidbit that Vero may have suffered a lot of damage from Wilma. When we toured it last Friday one of the CMs mentioned how they really suffered last year from 2 hurricanes and that they had to do a lot of rebuilding of the boardwalk etc... Has anyone here heard anymore official news about this? Its sad to see some place get hit over and over.

Well, I don't know anything official, but I called the resort and the CM said everything was just fine and that they never even shut down. If anyone from these boards lives in the area, a first-hand report would be greatly appreciated.
