Kids and I went to see it last night - I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe! No kidding. My kids loved it too. The entire theater was cracking up through the whole movie. And it's well done - not just stupid funny. Gotta love Robin Williams!

I would really like to see this movie. I have a question though...how bad was the language? With Robin Williams, you can never tell.

I'm glad you like it. Critics (I should learn not to read reviews) didn't seem to like it, but I loved the scenes I saw on the Today Show, and of course Robin Williams totally cracked up Katie Couric.

Language wasn't too bad - I took my 5 and 8 year olds. We enjoyed it, but I couldn't help thinking how similar it was to the Vacation movies...

I wouldn't compare it to the vacation movies - because it was a LOT less raunchy. I didn't notice language as a problem, there was nothing that made me uncomfortable with my 8 and 9 yo's at all. Critics aren't usually too fond of funny, corny, and sentinemtal movies. But it was a good laugh!

Don't recall bad language dg. Wasn't watchig with my parents or niece and nephews, though, so I did not pay that much attention. It was definitely taame compared to most popular non-G movies these days.

I have to go see this with my parents. I can't wait!!:upsidedow
They are full time RVers, and this has them written all over it. DH and I once took a 13 day trip with them to VA. All I will say is no one was speaking to each other at the end of trip, $1000 worth of body damage to RV, and it took DH a month before he could be in the same room with my mom.... Can I say that was our last RV trip with them? And it was 7 years ago!! LOL!

Sounds like they need to make a movie of your trip as well!:scary: Althoug - from the sounds of it - language would be a problem in that one!:grrrrr:
Ya know - I was trying to make the pic just a tiny bit smaller - it seemed so big! SO I shrunk it, and for almost a weel on my computer it looked the same. Then all of the sudden it got tiny! I should probably just take it out completely now.......

So - can you look back on that momentous trip and laugh now?
Because I know next to nothing about it and I'm cracking up!

yes memories we all laugh at!! Except my stepdad, he still leaves the room when we are laughing about it...
Actually the trip in Jan that we are taking the mothers is the first trip since "THE TRIP" that DH and I my mom have agreed to vacation together. It took 7 years!:Pokepoke:
If only we had some of the arguments on tape, I could be a millionare! OMG, the stories.....I didn't even tell how my stepdad almost burned the RV down to the ground.....:hahahaha:
