Discount for other Disney Resorts

We're looking at arriving late on a Saturday night, and would like to save our points for sunday. Is there a DVC discount for other WDW resorts?

If anyone would like to share an alternate strategy, I'll listen in appreciation.

As I understand it, DVC discount applies only to actual DVC properties. I did a cash discount at OKW once, and will do it again in a heartbeat if the opportunity rises.

There is only a 25% discount off the rack rates for DVC members booking a DVC room if the discount is available. We usually stay at one of the Allstar resort on the first day and have our luggage moved free by Disney to the DVC resort.

I agree the AP discounts are good, I use them a lot on the weekend nights.

Thanks for the information. We will be getting the Annual passes, though we're still pondering whether to buy the premium or decaffeinated versions. Our travel is in July, and the AP rates weren't out yet as of Monday night.

FWIW, this will be our first DVC trip. We're looking forward to it, if only because there will be a door to separate our 11 & 4 year old kids from us (and vice versa).

too funny!! we got premium passes this year, and I am really struggling to justify the extra cost----we are going to TL this trip, but that will only make 1 trip for a whole year worth of premium pass.

next year, we are going decaff for sure! :thumbsup:
