when you're on the waitlist for an add-on
i just feel like i should check in every week or so to see if anything came in
is it like an automatic thing when points come in, or does the guide need to be on top of the list as points come available?
i've left two messages this past week for the guide nazi and haven't heard from her.
i want to give her the benefit of the doubt, stick with her andd be patient until the points become available, but if she doesn't even call me back.
you know, come to think of it, i had call back in december to talk about an add-on and we played phone tag for a day, i left a detailed message about what i wanted and never heard back from her.
now, if she had returned my call then, perhaps i'd have my points now?

tough call. I have never been on a wait list for points. My guide, though never calls me, is pretty good about calling me. I guess I should consider myself lucky. (I do get jealous when others talk of their guides calling them when they go "home")
If it were me, I would call. I thought that if you put a credit card deposit, it is automatic??

Good luck on your points! Keep us updated!!

I've only called my Guide once since we completed our purchase. We bought nearly 3 years ago.

I know that the Guides do have commitments to give tours to on-site guests and they even take turns traveling on the 7-day Disney Cruises. I'm sure some also take vacation from time-to-time as well. :)

That said, it does sound like you aren't getting very professional service. If it were me, I'd give it a couple more days to eliminate the possibilty that the Guide might have been out of the office. I wouldn't call back again...enough messages have already been left.

By mid-week, if no follow-up call, I'd take it to a manager. There's just no good reason for ignoring a phone call altogether--it takes 30 seconds to call and at least confirm you are still on the list.

Good luck getting your points!

I agree with tjkraz. Give it a few more days and then take it up to a higher level. I might even discuss the taking back of the add-on points that this guide caused. A manager might be interested in getting you your points even if they are a different UY :fingerscr :dust :mickeysor
