I have only been going to Curves for 2 months, but long enough to know Curves etiquette and that what I was running into wasn't quite right.
Each time I have been to Curves on Saturday morning, I have encountered another member that feels she needs to critisize my workout. The first time she told me I wasn't holding my arms properly. Even though I had never been told I was doing it wrong by the Trainer and I was annoyed at the time, I thanked her for her comment.
The next time I encountered this lady, she told me I was not pointing my toes enough to get the proper workout on the machine I was using. I decided to ignore her this time. What really creeped me out more than anything was knowing that she was watching me.
So this morning, I walk in the door and she is there and I wondered if she would have anything to say. The Trainer made mention that I had on another Disney shirt, one with a nice big Mickey on the pocket. The Trainer then mentions that my "friend" was also wearing a Disney shirt and that we should get together. Mind you, this Trainer has no knowledge of what has transpired between me and my "friend". So the Trainer then makes a comment about both of us being big Disney fans.
My "friend" then started talking about how she goes to Disney a lot and that they own timeshere there, in fact she owns at the most successful and largest timeshare in the world, right there at Disney. She said the name of her timeshare is Vistana, had I ever heard of it?
I said yes, I was familiar with Vistana, and that I had even stayed there a couple of times, and that it was right outside one of Disney's main entrances. I then said that I, too, own timeshare in Orlando, BUT MINE IS ON DISNEY PROPERTY AND WAS CREATED BY DISNEY.......................
I smiled thru the rest of my workout and she never said another word.
