I'm having serious thoughts of going over US Thanksgiving - crazy, I know, but I was only in WDW in January, April, July, August, and October so far this year, and the December trip may not happen.

Since I'll still have points to burn before February, I'm hoping to squeeze in a January trip as well.

Oh, and I may be going to *ahem* Anaheim for work *ahem* shortly *ahem*

I just booked our yesterday, at 11 months. I didn't think there was much chance of not getting it, but I like to cross things off.

9/17- 9/22 BWV standard one bedroom. We'll probably book the weekend before elsewhere closer to the trip. We also may change that to something else if it's available at 7 months jsut because there are others we haven't tried yet, and I like to try everything. Yes. I'm one of those people at Boma who uses 50 thousand plates so I can have one bite of everything :) .

Getting ready to book BWV for week of Oct 15th a 2 bedroom and a studio for my step-fathers 70th birthday. Thought about the GV but they like to have their own "personal"space. I havent been with him in Disney since I was a little girl and I really want this trip to be extra special for him. Both he and my mom are cancer survivors and this trip is important for me. My step-father really understands and shares my passion for Disney. It will be great to treat them and show them around "my place"! :) I am sure to drive you guys crazy when the trip gets closer with tons of questions to make the trip super special! :) :) :)

DLRP November of this year, just a few weeks to go, woohoo!

I also have January and May booked for BWV, Next wednesday, 11/2 I will start booking day by day for F&W at BWV for October 2006. I don't know if I need to do the day by day thingy, but since I want a 1 BR standard at BWV (and we all know those standard views go fast) and it is F&W time I'd rather be safe than sorry

Germany sounds like fun, Carrie! But so does the AK cruise!

We're now looking at Feb 8 to 12...I have a conference in Orlando over those dates. Problem is, we've used all our points for this UY and I really don't want to borrow or we'll be short for next year. DH is uncooperative...he doesn't think we need more points yet :sosad:

Then by all means borrow, borrow, borrow! Getting into points debt was the only way I was able to convince DH to do an add-on, LOL! That, and turning him onto the idea of LONGER trips... now, he's so spoiled, he can't possibly think about going to WDW for less than 9 days at a time... preferably 14! And my latest ploy - I introduced him to HHI. My DH is a real beach-nut. So now he likes the World AND HHI... workin' my way to an income tax refund add-on, sez I.... I keep hopin' DVC will make some osrot of major announcement like Contemporary DVC that prompts oodles of Contempo-lovers to flee to it, possibly selling off smaller add-on contracts they did elsewhere.... and that's where we come in, LOL, to scoop 'em up at an over-saturated market price...

(Hey... A gal can dream, right?)

I was also thinking for our trip in a GV at OKW, we would do OKW for about 4 nights and then over the VB in a cottage for 4 nights, now to pull it all together with Dbils & Dsil....LOL and we all know how that goes...LOL

Just got our DVC gang (4 other couples, all dvc owners) and our family to agree on dates for Oct. We had to factor in everyone's expiring APs, and those dreaded work schedules.

We'll either stay at SSR or OKW for this trip. It'll depend on availability the 7 month mark as to where we stay. Everyone's making back-up reservations at their home resort now, though, so we have it covered regardless.

We have the March/April '06 trip pretty well planned out now. However, now we are looking at sometime between October and December for a 2nd trip next year. (Gotta get max use out of these AP's) :D

I wanna go to WDW in October for F&W and our 30th birthdays.... but there is some controversy over that idea. I need to check the academic calendar to see when we get Fall break, etc. (Can't miss too much class).

We booked a January Paradise Pier Concierge level room at Disneyland to use holding account points. We are booking a Feb. weekend at Paradise Pier Disneyland to burn off the rest of our holding account points. Then booking a late May trip to OKW in a studio, and an Oct. trip at VWL in our first one bedroom.

Ok, we canceled HHI for Spring break.

So now that leaves next Nov.

I guess hubby wants to get his brothers down there so it depends on where they want to stay.

We are most likely going to Cont Tower but I priced out Values, Moderates and WL (chepest deluxe) for them. So I guess if they all want WL then we will move over to VWL. But they have to make up their minds quick or screw 'em.

Gosh no one told me having DVC would be this stessful ;)

I'm almost done with our November trip to BCV. We're going 11/4-11/11 but we need a 2 BR with the 2 Queens so I've been calling every morning at 9am. So far it's going well. My last call to MS for this trip will be Monday. :bluebloun

We seriously considering a quick weekend trip in May for Star Wars Weekends again, but it won't be a DVC trip. Probably a moderate resort for 3 nights. We went last year and since DS-6 (and DH) is a HUGE SW fan, he was thrilled! He wore his Anakin Costume all day at MGM and he's already asking if he can wear it again this year. Even our DD -19months goes around breathing like Darth Vader everytime she sees something from Star Wars. :bugeyed:

I think that it may actually be Disneyland Resort Paris!!!! :bluebloun I've always wanted to go, but things never worked out. My sister emailed me the other day, and if it works she would come from the UK and I would come from Germany and we would meet in the middle. (She's never been to a Disney park as a adult... :bugeyed: )

Of course, with our schedules it may not happen, but I've love to do a detour on a trip to Germany.....
