I guess Tech Support is as good a place as any to post this...

Microsoft released IE7.0 Beta 2 to the public. Has anyone tried it yet? If so, any problems with the boards or other issues in general that you'd care to share?

I haven't tried it. I did notice that you could if you wanted a couple of days ago and promptly forgot about it. :p

That sounds like a project for Monday :)

FYI, I did the upgrade last night and so far, so good. The MO boards, website and every other site I've tried have loaded just fine. No crashes or other glitches experienced thus far.

Best of all, the upgrade took no more than 15 minutes to download and install. That's pretty good for a feature that's such a big part of the Windows OS core.

It's going to take a little getting used to, but it appears to be a nice upgrade. Definitely some useful new features here...I just need to figure out how to use them. :)

Does it have the tabs feature like FireFox does?

Yes. It also has a built-in RSS newsreader (haven't tried it) and a Phishing Filter that's supposed to alert you if you browse to a bogus site.

Page loads also are quite a bit faster than IE 6x.
