Magical Beginnings: Doodlebops and Wiggles at MGM

To attract families with young children during the August/September period of 2006, Disney is introducing "Magical Beginnings." Part of the marketing campaigne will be Playhouse Disney characters performing at Disney-MGM Studios.

For the event, a show called "Playhouse Disney in Concert" will occur in Disney-MGM Studios. Wether or not it will occur in the Playhouse Disney Live on Stage venue replacing normal showings or elsewhere in the park is currently unknown.

Currently scheduled to appear as part of the concert series:

Doodlebops 8/20-8/23, 2006
Mickey Mouse Magic Show 8/16-19 and 8/24-8/27, 2006
Wiggles 8/29-9/1, 2006

How did you know Doodlebop was my pet name Viking? :jawdroppi

I have seen the Wiggles and it was actually quite entertaining. There is no question how those men stay in shape - they most constantly! If you have a child that is of the right age, this would be a blast (however probably easier to see away from WDW).

They are going to have the actual Wiggles perform? That would be great. We've seen them a few times in concert when DS was into them. He's grown out of them and DD is starting to like them now. Unfortunately she loves the darn Doodlebops!:hammer:

Yeah, my daughter is really into both the Doodlebops and the Wiggles...I guess as much as a one year old can be!

The Doodlebops freak me out. :scary:

The Wiggles were on Craig Ferguson's Late Late Show last night (CBS). It was a tad late for the little ones, but it was cute. Not where I'd expect to see them, but cute! My nieces love these guys. I wouldn't have stayed up for the Doodlebops.

Before Maty came into the picture, I didn't have a clue who the Wiggles were. I'm pretty sure now I know every one of their songs, and Yes, I can point my fingers and do the twist. I'm wondering if it will be the actual Wiggles performing. Gosh, kids are going to LOVE that!

Now the Doodlebops are a different story. FREAKY!!! and not in a good way.
