The official Star Wars website has detail on the merchandise available during this year's SWW:

BTW, a tip: Last year the lines just to get into Tattoine Traders were running 60+ minutes most of the day, particularly during the first couple of weekends. To bypass the line, consider just riding Star Tours (duh!) Even during SWW, the line for Star Tours is normally not that long.
Also, I've heard somewhere that there is at least one other big location at MGM where you can buy SWW merchandise during the event. I think it might be the counter outside of the Sounds Dangerous building, but I'm not certain. I know that location was selling merchandise for ESPN The Weekend back in March. If anyone knows for sure, please share!

We went to the counter outside Sounds Dangerous last year and they didn't have any of the really limited edition stuff. I was able to get Jedi Mickey, t-shirts and other "regular" type merchandise...which was fine for us. (We weren't looking for collectibles that trip)
The store over by Indiana Jones and Primetime Cafe had a larger selection of LE stuff (than the counter, not TT). In the morning they had lines trying to get into there too but definately not as bad as Tattooine Traders.

I was able to order the infamous Darth Mickey last year thru WDW special events online. I wonder if they'll have any of this merchandise for sale online again?

That must be the one I'm thinking of. Do you know if they carry the event posters at that location? I've got 3 of the posters from past years framed on a wall in my home theater. That's really the only collectible I'm interested in getting. (Easy for me to say now, right? ;) )
Shan: Here's the link you're thinking of:

My understanding is that offering the Darth Mickey's there was done out of necessity because Disney didn't produce enough. IIRC, they ran out of their entire supply sometime during the second SWW (second of six) last year.
It will be interesting to see what demand is like this year for collectibles. With the film last year, interest was certainly at an all-time high for Star Wars stuff. I wonder how much of a drop off there will be this year.

Honestly, I don't remember. I went there to meet one of the CM's (Jillian) that posts at Matt's site. I do remember they had the LE pins and I remember they had other stuff but I didn't really look to hard either. Sorry!
I love the idea for the posters! Hope you can get 1 easily for this year. I have several SW and Indy (& a few others) posters for when we finally finish our "media" room.
I may have to search out this poster though....it's too cute!

So how does everyone like the logo this year? I'm not really liking it too much. I loved last year's but this one just doesn't stand out as much. It looks kind of "cheap".

I think that "defend the Kingdom" Mickey is a must for our star wars corner!

I don't care for it either. Mickey kinda looks like "huh?", I would rather see him in Jedi mode. Mickey could way kick Vader's butt in my world, he needs to look like it!!

I'm waiting to see how the event poster looks before I formulate any final judgement.
Below are the three posters I have framed from '00, '03 and '04. The '05 artwork was a real disappointment to me. I wasn't big on the fire motif used throughout last year's marketing, and I thought the paint brush drawing the Mickey ears was cheezy, too.
I'm pretty much out of room on this wall. If I'm even going to get the poster, it's going to have to unseat one of the prints I already have.
Right now I'm kinda liking this print:
