I joined Alamo's Quicksilver program yesterday. Today I received my QS number. I rebooked my reservation for May using the Costco numbers (luckily the price was still under $100 for the week). But the reservation uses a coupon.
I know you can't use on-line checkin with a coupon, but will I still be able to use the QuickSilver Counter? And is the QS counter the one that's actually in the garage, or is it a special counter in the airport?

I can't give you a first-hand answer. My trip next month will be my first time flying into MCO in years.
But based upon everything that I've read on MouseSavers and elsewhere:
1. Yes, you can use coupons for Quicksilver.
2. You CANNOT use the on-line check-in option if you have a coupon.
3. Quicksilver is just a separate line at the counter--in theory, a shorter line. Quicksilver is NOT a program like Emerald Aisle where you just pick up a car and go. You still need to wait on line to be helped and assigned to a car.

I knew you couldn't use on-line checkin with a coupon, but I didn't know if a coupon affected the Quicksilver program.
I also know the first time you rent using QS, you have to sign some sort of document at the airport. So there's obviously a counter involved somewhere.
