We're driving to the World in mid-July. Please PM me if you have an AAA pass to spare.

Thanks.

I've seen them go on Ebay for about $80 each! :scary: Hope you can get one without going that route.

We've had them in the past and I honestly didn't think the parking was that much better. I certainly wouldn't pay for it but a "donated" one would be great.

Good Luck! :goodvibes

Do you have to schedule a trip through AAA or just be a member to get?

Some AAA diamond parking areas are better than others. I liked the location for MK...it's as close as you can get to TTC. I thought MGM wasn't worthwhile. AK is good when it's available...but twice we were there and couldn't use the AAA lot for some reason, they had it closed off? Epcot is GREAT...definitely saves you time if you are driving after Illuminations, it is near the kennels I believe right up front.

Anyway, I don't have one now because you need to purchase a package thru AAA to get the diamond parking pass. Good luck!

Supposedly you have to book your entire trip package through AAA to get it. I've heard of people getting one just for buying tickets, but those seem to be more mistakes and "friend-of-a-friend" deals than anything else.

(Incidentally, although it gets surprisingly little press, trips to DisneyLAND booked through AAA get Enhanced Fastpass cards allowing guests to hold as many FP tickets at a time as they wish.)

We had one of these a few years ago when we bought our passes through AAA, but when we asked again, we were told that they had discontinues that, and now you have to book your entire trip through them, which obviously won't work for us since we're never booking a hotel (darn DVC;) !).

It was more convenient, but we didn't miss it too much. Certainly not enough to book a package! But I hope you find one floating out there, TW.

Last year on the other boreds, the AAA passes were being paid forward. I posted over there and the 1st reply is someone wanting to sell me one.

I can't imagine someone paying $80 for one. Must be a local.

I think it's going to be hard to find someone just giving it away now. Once people hear they can make money off it, most will choose that route.

Here's a current auction on Ebay for one:

When I posted the link it was at $45 already. I see them more and more on Ebay. Sorry! Hope you find one!

If we could get our hands on one we could pass it around here. I know I would love a AAA Diamond Parking Pass for our 8/27/06-9/4/06 and 2/18/07-2/23/07 trips. I'd even be willing to coordinate getting it to a list of people. :hypnotict (Trams and strollers don't mix!)

Any more ideas on how to get one without paying big $$?
