Questions re: Banking

I have some questions about banking points.

(1) When can you bank? I have four VWL points left over in my 2006 Use Year. My Use Year is August. Do I have to actually wait until the Use Year begins (i.e. August 2006) to bank these points, or can I bank them now?

(2) Can you bank points from a contract more than once? Say I bank these four VWL points, and do something that changes a reservation and I get some additional VWL points back (say I cancel a night at VWL in December). Can I then turn around and bank the additional points?

(3) I assume that banking my VWL points has no effect on my OKW points, correct? Even if you can only bank points from a contract once, and I bank VWL points, I'll still be able to bank OKW points separately.

Not sure on this one. I would think so, but seeing as you have until 1-31-07, there's no hurry.

Can I then turn around and bank the additional points? As long as the total banked for the year is not greater than the banking limit. For example, You could bank 25% right away and anothe 25% before the 50% deadline, but could not bank any mnore than 50% after that deadline. CLear as mud?

Correct separate contracts ar just that. everything is separate.

I banked 161 of my 2005 Dec points to 2006 use year in Jan. Wanted to book Dec trip points for 2005 could not be used. I already had a trips booked in Feb,May and Oct. with banked 2004 and some 2005 points. By banking the Dec trip points come off the banked points first.
