What happens when I add someone to my buddy list??? (ok, I know that you are ALL my buddies, :doublekis but I am curious.....)

Does anyone see that I added them as my buddy???

I looked at your profile and didn't see any place to view buddies. But I did see that you made one referral. How did you do that?

I have no idea about the 'referral' - I did inviite a few ppl over here until the web address was filtered out by another site.... but I do tell people about this great site in emails etc!!!

If you mouse over someone's name, there is an option 'add to buddy list'. You could also add someone to ignore, which means that you won't see their posts. But I don't see that making someone a buddy does anything special.... so now I'm curious!

I added someone to my buddy list and all that I can see is a little plus by their name where they are listed whos on line at the bottom of the main forums page- :confused:

I just assumed it was a shortcut to seeing the status of your own circle of friends. Remember that the "Currently Active Users" display is optional. Kim could disable it if she so chose. With that list gone, or if it becomes large enough as to be unwieldy, you may appreciate an easy way to see the status of your friends on the board.

BTW, in case you didn't know, you can pull up the your own Buddy List under the "Quick Links" menu above.
