our group is going to see the grand gathering "wishes" fireworks cruise. we are staying at the boardwalk. getting to the contemporary resort i dont see the problem as far as the transportation. i was wondering about getting back to the resort after the cruise is over.

since it will be over after 10pm -would we still be able to cut through epcot since its closed or take bus transportation back to boardwalk? i was just trying to figure out the best way to get back to the resort.

when we are in a pinch, we just hop a DTD bus, and transfer to the resort we are staying. Usually this is a long process (1 hour average) and we just take a cab for about $15 average. Now with a bigger group of people, you might be able to get a cab van.

You won't be able to walk through Epcot that late, but the busses from the MK run for over an hour (usually it's 2 hours) after Park Closing. I would walk from the contemp to the MK (short easy walk, 5 minutes) and hop on a bus back to BW. Rozzie's suggestion is also an option, it will run you $15-$20 to take a cab.

Depending on how many people and how late it is, my first choice would be to take a cab from Contemporary to your resort. That'll be the quickest way back to your resort. The second choice would be to walk to the MK and take a bus to your resort.
