If memory serves, you can only redeem them at 6 locations--the Guest Relations windows at the front of all four theme parks, Epcot's International Gateway and Downtown Disney.

If you're staying at the Beach Club or Boardwalk, I'd go for the International Gateway. I rarely see more than one group waiting for service at this location.

DTD also tends to be a low traffic location, but you'll usually only find one CM working there. If two or three people happen to duck into this small office just ahead of you, you may be left waiting a little while. The beauty here is that unless you're in a hurry, you can always browse in the shops and return a few minutes later.

I'd try to avoid any of the parks first thing in the morning--particularly the Magic Kingdom. If you've never waited in those lines, you would be shocked at how many people arrive at WDW with no tickets in hand and no real concept of what they want to buy or how much it will cost.

We bought our last set of APs at MGM around 11am on a Sunday. When we arrived there were 3 windows open. We were second in line to be helped. Just one of the Guest Relations CMs helped the people at the window when we arrived, the person ahead of us and then our family. By the time we finished getting our APs (a process that takes about 10 minutes), the other two windows STILL had not been able to service one party. Each of the two groups had tied-up a CM for 20 minutes and counting.

Sadly the above story is pretty typical of what you will find at Guest Relations. Our family often has trouble holding onto their APs, making us good for at least 2 trips to Guest Relations per vacation. :(

I agree with tjkraz :)

Have always exchanged mine at the International Gateway without any wait whatso ever- :)

Exchanging my dd's at MGM was not as easy - waited in line for at least 45 minutes (the lines for the rides were shorter!)

Agreed - IG tends to be a pretty quiet place to buy tickers/do AP redemptions etc.

cheers

Another vote for International Gateway! We had absolutely no wait when we went to do ours.
