I have lunch with my bestest Disney friend about once a week, we always eat at the same Mexican place, it is cheap and convenient to both our work locations.

What specific kinds of things could I possibly order that wouldn't show up on the scales too badly? What about fajitas? I don't use sour cream or guacamole on anything. I know the salsa is o.k., and the chips are thin and salt free, so maybe that isn't too, too bad. Any suggestions?

Changing restaurants is not an option, so I am seriously looking for healthy suggestions. I am getting really close to a "benchmark" on the scales and I don't want to head in the other direction.

We will be meeting for lunch either on Monday or Tuesday of next week, so speedy gonzalez help is appreciated.

I would say fajitas. You might want to ask them to cook it without any oil or butter. While the chips are thin and salt free, they might be fried. Watch the tortillas with the fajitas. Many tortillas are high in calories, fat, and are nothing but white flour. I don't know what things you are watching in your diet, as each person has their own opinion of what's healthy. :)
A splurge once a week shouldn't throw you off the healthy wagon. Once a week and back to normal should be fine.
Enjoy your lunch.

Fajitas, all the veggies you want. Light on the cheese, sour cream and guacamole and you'll be ok. Moderation is still about the biggest key too.

Margarita's!! They're mostly ice (water, which you're supposed to drink a lot of) and citrus. Drink enough of them and you may not need to worry about how much you ate. :headscrat

Actually...

Watch the cheeses and the sauces, go extra on the salsa instead. Maybe a taco salad, light on the meat - again salsa instead of dressing.
