Its my understanding that the Turf Club is actually expanding its menu BEFORE it completes the changes physically to add additional seating, etc.
(somewhere in the back of my mind November 1 is stuck as the official change date).
Anyone know? I am hoping for our trip in December that they will be service a full menu!

I dont know the answer, but I for one am very happy they are expanding. That was the main reason we havent stayed there yet. (We cant wait to!!)

The way I read the Allears notice, The Turf Club will offer table service dining starting on November 1st. They will also begin construction work at that time, presumedly on an expansion of the exterior deck.
The complete renovation won't be finished until next summer.
This thing could be really slick. I'm envisioning 20+ tables in a sheltered area overlooking the boat dock. Not bad!

It would be neat if they could have a character dinner or bk too...I'm envisioning Mary Poppins riding the carousel horses...

I'll keep my eyes open when I'm there in a few weeks. Maybe we'll see some tests or new menus. It'll be a great addition to the resort!

Thanks lefty! :)
(I would LOVE the Mary Poppins themed breakfast....but those only seem to attract a big enough crowd at the resorts that are attached to hotels as well....pity)

I was trying to think of horse related names for the food, like Sea Biscuits for breakfast or the Thoroughbred Tenderloin or Secretariat Sirloin or Jockey Jambalaya....then it dawned on me how gross this would be b/c people would associate it with horse meat...
Maybe Rash Hash?
But they could arrange the menu like "And they're off" for appetizers, "Down the backstretch" for the main course and "Photo finish" for deserts...

I actually had ground horse meat in Switzerland when I lived there in the 70's. As I recall, it was OK, but I was 24 and really wasn't too in tune with differences...........
