I guess it goes along with MS being closed, but did not occur to me.

Hey guys...if you go to this link, you can see a live web cam shot from a BWV balcony: http://www.tivogirl.com/bwvcam

These guys set up their web cam so that we far from the World can have cheap thrills!

They said that the weather is already clearing up, and they wouldn't be surprised if the parks open at 2pm.

I sent them an email to come visit our happy place!

Actually, Eric and I were getting 80 minute aromatherapy massages  from noon to 1:30 today (we planned thyis in advance, knowing Wilma would probably close the parks down), and by the time we got out of the parks, they had announced that MK is open 'til midnite and Epcot is open 'til 10 PM. We then went over to AP to eat lunch.

Btw, we are "rope-dropping" types. We are "get up at 10:30, yawn, stretch, get to the parks at noon" types.

But it is kinda cold :brrrrrr: here now, that's for sure!!

Actually, now I'm so relaxed, I think I might take a nap.

Good planning Kim!!! :woohoo: A nap sounds heavenly. I hate leaving the massage table. Always want to sleep for 100 years.

Okay, just got back from Epcot, and let me say that Disney's version of "open" is not my version of "open."

I was thinking that we would go and partake of the various food booths surrounding the world showcase; after all, Epcot is open, right?

WRONG! All of the food booths were closed, and all of the restaurants were full up, meaning that we had to eat cruddy old cold burgers and fries from the Liberty Inn.

You know, they could have been honest about what "open" means to them. If they had said "not operating to full capacity" or something like that, we would have gone to MK or DTD to eat, at the very least. Cold burgers do not make for a very magical experience. If I'd paid for a MYW ticket rather than an AP, I'd be pretty well buggered, I can tell you that!!

Kim

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom day. Do you think they'll let the animals out?? Sheesh.
