Folks & Friends,

We took our 1st visit home to SSR in January 05 and sent DW's parents to OKW in February to celebrate their 40th anniversary. So nice to have the points to do this for family.

I promised DW that January's trip would be our last commando trip. We hadn't been since 1997 and it was DD's 1st WDW experience (having been to DLRP in September 04) -- so we just had to see and do everything.

With the thoughts and promises of doing just whatever we feel like doing from now on -- enjoying the best of the best, as it were -- I was thinking of putting together a 1-day E-Ticket Touring Plan.

Just for fun -- and with the prospect of actually accomplishing this touring plan at some point in the near future (I do have a trip planned for March 06) -- what rides and attractions would you put into a 1-day E-Ticket touring plan?

I've tried to include the original E-Ticket rides and attractions at MK, to the best of my knowledge. MGM, AK, and EPCOT would be pure conjecture as to E-ticket status -- what would be your E-Ticket rides at these parks?

Just my initial thoughts, with lots of room for conjecture, speculation and editing.

AK

Kali River Rapids
Kilimanjaro Safari
Expedition Everest

MK

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
Big Thunder Mountain
Haunted Mansion
Pirates of the Caribbean
it's a small world
Jungle Cruise
Country Bear Jamboree

EPCOT

Mission:Space
Soarin'
Test Track

Disney-MGM Studios

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster
Star Tours

Your thoughts folks?

Add Philharmagic to MK for sure!
Personally, I'd add the Pooh ride too. I'm sure that's surprises everyone. :ROTFL:

I'd add Dinosaur at the AK and Lights, Motors, Action (Is that the name? I can never keep it straight) at the Studios.

I'd also say that a couple of your MK "E" Ticket rides weren't on the original list but for the life of me, I can't remember for sure which ones? How about Country Bear and It's a Small World? Were they "C" or "D" tickets originally? But I'd say due to their "Disney Historical" nature that I'd keep them on the list and put CoP in there too if it is open.

I would skip Kali rapids, since I think it is a big disappointment, but I would add Dinasaur and definitely include Festival of the Lion King at AK!

At MK, I would probably leave out Jungle Cruise and add in Philharmagic and Peter Pan (I know, but I just love that one).

At MGM, I would add in the mew stunt show and maybe Great Movie Ride.

My husband isn't a thrill ride guy. He is taking his brother for a short trip this spring. They only have four days - they probably won't make it into the MK at all.

Here is his list:

AK:

Safari
ITTAB

(not ride people, so no Kali...they might do Dinosaur. They aren't insisting on doing FOTLK because they will do Cirque).

MGM:

Lights, Motors, Action
Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Star Tours (they aren't ride people, they are geeks)
Maybe Fantasmic - although it isn't as cool if you aren't a Disney person - his brother isn't into the Disney movies.

Epcot:

Soarin
Mission:Space (see the geek note, for not a ride guy, he loves M:S)
I think I have him convinced to try Test Track, he hasn't yet and I've told him "its more than a car that goes fast"
Illuminations

MK (If they get there, his brother has been to the MK before):
Pirates
Buzz
Philharmagic
Haunted Mansion

They also have Cirque and PI on their list. Their main goal is to enjoy some time together, explore World Showcase. They are making dinner reservations at Jiko.

At AK, Dino & Bugs life in place of Kali.

Epcot: I'd add Universe of Energy. Ellen cracks me up.

MGM: Trade Star Tours for TGMR

MK: How can you possibly leave out the worlds greatest ride ? TTA
