Colorado Belle has me craving Conch Fritters and DVCconvert has me hankering for grits at OKW.

What are your favorite must have munchies at the resorts?:yummy:

From the Boardwalk: Eclairs from the Boardwalk Bakery following Illuminations. And chicken wings at ESPN during any game on the big screen.

Well, we don't stay at BCV, but I MUST go to Beaches and Cream every trip! Just a plain old hot fudge sundae made with mint chip ice cream for me. I do think we might try the kitchen sink for our whole crew in January though.

At OKW it would be key lime pie and our mightime trek to HH for Mickey bars.

Well, I've only made 1 trip ''home'' but a couple must haves going forward will be:
1)sitting in the hot tub, early a.m. watching the World awaken.
2)SPA treatments (mmmmm)
3) Walking to DTD at night.
I'm sure I'll come up with more when I return ''home''
:)

I'm not a huge breakfast fan, but breakfast on the deck at Olivia's is a must for me.

Never tried grits - I do remember standing in a Food Lion in Virginia looking at the grits aisle and trying to figure out what they were.... (Didn't have those in Germany, and in Canada we can't figure out what Americans mean by grits!!!) :)

Absolutely!!!! I also consider Margaritas a munchie too!!!! :margarita (I finally was able to use that smilie!) Just have to work my way thru all the resorts to find where the best one is! Now where is the smilie for pink elephants...:Pinkflami :Pinkflami

It's basically stone ground corn, served hot mixed with (in the case of Olivias) a wonderful fresh cream. It's a very traditional 'gulf states' cereal.

People seem to love 'em or hate 'em -- I can usually leave them--by Olivia's is really good! :)

All right, I'll have to try them on my next trip! The Quaker Oats version in Food Lion proclaiming 'extra bacon' didn't sound appealing - you've done a better job describing them...

I'll second both of those. Tried the gelato for the first time in August - WOW! - definitely a must-have from now on.

I'm resisting add the Kitchen Sink to this list, more of a definitely-want-but-should-not-have-often kinda thing.

But it is vacation, right, or is it home?

Only one trip home so far for me, but a cinnamon roll from the Boardwalk Bakery, brought back to the villa to enjoy with a freshly brewed pot of coffee became a "ritual" just a day into the 1st trip home. Mmmm.

I get something from BW bakery in the evening for the following day's breakfast so I can eat and get going quickly in the AM. Favorites are the muffins (usually choc chip or blueberry) and the almond croissants.

I also must have at least one Roller Coaster Meltdown from Leapin Libations pool bar at BWV per trip. For the unintiated they are pina coladas made with dark rum and coconut rum and they are DELICIOUS! :margarita

And I always bring home some fudge from the sweet shoppe, usually the black and white variety, but if they have a special flavor (had caramel last trip, yum), I get that if I like what it is.

This thread is making me hungry.

Beach Club Villas: A juicy burger from Beaches N Cream (well half of one-they're huge), Oreo Bon Bons from Cape May Cafe and anything from Cape May Cafe.

VWL: Just purchased there, but the milkshakes are good from Whispering Canyon and I am dying to try one of those desserts and Artist Point!
