Does anyone know if the price of the non-SSR resorts will increase? I know that the cost of SSR is going up at the end of the month and was wondering about the "sold-out" resorts. Thanks a bunch.

The sold out resorts are also supposed to increase.

I believe it's supposed to happen the same time as the SSR price increase, 3/31/06. However, some folks have reported that if you're just doing an add-on, it doesn't go up until June (or something like that).

Ghost1000 is right -- March 31 if you are not an existing customer, and June 30 if you are. :cool2:

Drat! I wanted exactly 40 points more at VWL and I was waiting until we had the extra money to pay in full. (Not to mention I can't finance 40.) It seems stupid to pay $95 per point when the contract length is so much smaller.

I will not add on at SSR. I just tried to switch a BCV October ressie to a BWV EXACTLY 7 months out and I had to go on a waitlist! I'm so glad we have BCV and VWL. Now I know BWV will be hard to get, but with OKW and SSR so large I'm not as worried about those.

I really think SSR's size is gonna make a HUGE impact on booking windows.

Thanks jaysue. I pulled up our account on DVC's website today and it appears we got BWV for October. That was fast! I still haven't gotten the new confirmation in the mail.

It shows we got a garden/pool view so I'm about to call to see if we are still on the waitlist for the BW view.

That happened with our waitlist as well - it was filled within a couple of days and I knew through dvcmember.com ahead of the snail mail

I'm glad I called back. Somehow we were not on the BW view waitlist anymore...

Price increase is this Friday for NEW members.

Price increase is July 1st for existing members.

SSR $101
BWV/VWL/BCV $95
OKW $92
HHI/VB other incentives

I was given this infromation by several DVC reps this week and confirmed with my guide re dates/prices.

The lack of increase at OKW will definitely influence my future buying plans.
