I've got two questions regarding the ADR system:

1. I understand that you can book all of your reservations 90 days in advance of your check-in date. But, what was unclear to me is whether they open up 100% of the tables / times to people booking that far out. In other words, let's say that my trip is 2/26 to 3/3 (which it is :) ). Did the people with trips that start 2/24 or 2/25 aleady have access to 100% of the reservations during my entire trip, or do they open up a few more tables/times with each day that passes?

2. What is it like getting reservations for the princess breakfast in Epcot? Is this one rung below the CRT situation where you really need to call 90 days out at 7am?

Thanks,
Tim

The thing we were told was that they definitely hold back ressies for the actual 90th day to be fair to Florida residents, off-site visitors and others I can't identify. We tried on the 93rd day for CRT, no luck. Then we tried on the 90th day and got lunch which was what we wanted anyway :goodvibes We would have struck out at breakfast!

Not sure about PSB though.

I have heard that only about 10% of the tables are open at the 100 day mark. I also was not able to get a CRT lunch at 93 days out, but at 90 I had my choice of times. It's worth a shot between 100-91 days out, and it is nice to make all other ressies early (like Le Cellier), but for the princess stuff...I would still just plan on calling at the 90-day mark.

We have a Magical Gatherings group for February. Makes me wonder if we will be able to get anything at 100 days? Anyone have experience at that?

Well, I called right at 6 AM 90 days out for New Years Eve, and I couldn't get what I wanted. I suspect it has something to do with the number in your party. We ended up with an early ADR at Teppanyaki for NYE, and even that was difficult. I haven't made any of my other ressies, and now it is about 75 days out. Will I have difficulty for the first 10 days of Jan.?

I would think that after the first day or two you'd have no trouble. New Year's Day is on a Sunday, people will have Monday off, I'd think it would go to slower levels very quickly. Unless they're giving away dining or something again (which made September hard this year) we've never had any problem getting what we wanted in January.

Tim, we've never done the Norway thing, but I had heard that it is much easier than the castle, but you still need to be on top of it - don't stress, but don't leave it either kind of thing.

We have never had trouble doing last minute in January either, but stories this year have made me think it might be more difficult.
