I love the framed pin sets. But I would have to say my absolute favorite piece of Disney (with the exception of owning a piece of DVC) would be the animated framed art of Steamboat Willie. Its black and white with Mickey at the wheel. When you push the button it plays the music and moves. I LOVE IT! It hangs in my black/white and chrome kitchen! :)

My girls and I have a doll collection with several of the princesses and heroines. The prettiest ones to me are the sparkle one's they aren't expensive but they are perfect! I've got my eye on a few posters as well.

Largely our collection will be a princess collection because I can't resist anything with them on it :goodvibes.

I asked DH this ? and he came up with several good ideas. He settled on his collection of Mickey and Disney shirts because he enjoys them so much. Another good one we both agree with is the great Mickey and Minnie that Honi bought me for my birthday last year right before we went home for the first time Oct 2004 :goodvibes They live on our bed :lovestruc

Can you EVER have too many Disney things? :idontgeti :hypnotict

For about the past two years, if not longer, we have made an impluse purchase every trip (three times a year). Sometimes more than one.
One of those purchases was DVC. That was a BIG impluse purchase, but we do not regret it.

This past September, while in EPCOT, we bought the limited edition beer stein (found it in Germany). It is beautiful.
Then we waltzed into Art of Disney and when we left the store, the beer stein was a drop in the bucket!

We have Disney plates, any disney statue that involves dancing, pins, music and Art of Disney. :goodvibes :goodvibes

I have mugs coming out the ying-yang. Actually I guess it isn't a lot but it sure seems like it 3 from PO, 1 from POP, 2 from CSR, 2 from CBR.

I also have pins, we collect pins on every trip where they have significance to that trip. Like the year, the resort, halloween or xmas parties etc.

This year we bought a splash mtn pin because we had NEVER gotton wet on that ride. Well this year we got soaked! You know when you go outside and can see the people going down the hill and those little things shoot out water at you? Got the one in the front AND to the side. I tell ya, so had to get that pin.

I have Mickey coasters, a blanket embroided from our 2000 trip, some cookbooks. Quite a bit of stuff.

It would take a long time for me to list all my Disney/WDW souvenirs, my family jokes that Disney would go out of business if I stopped buying. I have two hutches in my LR filled to the brim with memorablilia, as well as a dresser top full of stuff in my bedroom. Numerous posters in my LR and BR. I also have well over 40 (haven't counted recently) WDW shirts/jackets/sweatshirts I have collected over the years. There is not a room in my house, including the bathrooms, that doesn't have something Disney in it. Even use WDW washcloths in the shower, I have several and alternate them regularly.

I guess my favorites are my Lady and the Tramp collection (plates, mugs, snowglobes, pins, salt and pepper shakers, heart shaped earring box, pins, bank, and more) as well as a number of Snow Globes and plates from WDW.

Like Cobbler we've migs coming out of Spings.

and each trip adds some more. OUr collection of picture frames is building, each with snaps of the kids on our trips as well. This last trip we picked up a new tea kettle and to our surprise it does not whictle so much as hum or toot like a train. Kids love yelling, "Next stop Mickey's Toon Town Fair..." whenever the water boils.

When DD was born I splurged on a cell of Cinderella having her hand kissed by Prince Charming. DD proudly displays it in her room. (I plan to take full blame for any therapy that results, and will always remind her no one is good enough for my little princess.)

Oh, I have tons of stuff in my collections. But those of you that have known me for a while (which is most of you) will not be surprised to hear that most of it is Snow White merchandise.

Most recently....... a bill for $600.81 from the front desk.

Don't think I'll buy a frame.

I have a few Disney "things"...Mostly Mickey around the house, but my favs are a huge Mickey Mouse clock (about 3 feet across), and a tea kettle that looks like a Mickey head with one ear as the handle and one ear as the lid handle. I guess our leather WDW jackets fit into that favorite catagory too.

:hahahaha: I have a few of those.

Now that y'all mention it, I guess our collection is a little dark. We have a Pooh Halloween snowglobe, the Villains snowglobe :maleficen , a Villains cookie jar, a Haunted Mansion snowglobe, a lighted Haunted Mansion and the Disneyland Jack Skellington Haunted House. I guess that's to be expected from a coupla weirdos that got married on Halloween :skull:

We also have a small 25th anniversary castle cake figurine and larger Cindy's castle that was our wedding cake topper :bouncingm

We have a decent amount of Disneyana gracing our home... a set of 3-D Pooh plates graces the stairwell heading to the kid's rooms. Prints of BWV and HHI are on the family room wall, and under those are 4 or 5 of those WDW engraved wooden frames and photo albums from various trips, loaded with photos. Our basement playroom has framed copies of each of the park maps, LOL! Favorite Disney spot is kid's bathroom - total Nemo, with a Nemo curtain, sponged walls to match, and curtains I made myself with tropcial fish on the same color fabric and some teal mesh into which I've sewn Nemo bath toys for a 3D look, plus a shelf up above the toilet that has all the little characters from the movie, and then color prints (copies made from lithos) from the movie. Kids love it - and so do I.

But for all our Disney stuff, we know we are peons compared to our pediatrician. I have never - EVER - in my life seen so much Disney in one place. I am NOT kidding when I say he IS a Disney store. Beanies hang from his ceilings. Stuffed animals EVERYWHERE surrounding the walls in the clerical area. PLates and boxed pin sets grace the halls and exam rooms. And now - every room has a flat screen monitor on which he plays - you guessed it - Disney films! And the TV in the lobby - yup - Disney channel. At his desk and at the assistant's desks - snowglobes of every size and shape. You just CANNOT IMAGINE. I told him that if an evil e-Bayer ever got wind of this place, he would get robbed blind, LOL! We did learn, however, that the ONE critter he DID not have was - can you believe it - GOPHER! My dd noticed this and sure enough, we searched his entire place - no Gopher. She had her stuffed Gopher with her (well of COURSE my kids have a stuffed Gopher toy! Doesn't everyone?) and told him who it was and that he didn't have one, and of course, he jokingly tried to pocket hers! Well, several months later, there we were in DTD, and dd (aged 4) says, "Mom! We have to get this for (her doctor)! IT'S GOPHER!" So of course we bought him and the good doc added him to his cast of thousands...

Well our favourite piece of Disney isn't actually in our possesion but we go see it every trip. We have a stone on the walkway that I got for us for our wedding in 98. Other than that it is our framed 25th anniversary picture from Disney.
