Jersey Week

I am debating on booking a trip during Jersey Week for this fall. Just how crowded does it really get during that time?

Well, we've visited during Jersey Week several times. Personally, I did not find it to be overwhelming crowds. But with that said....it seems to increase yearly.

Of course Epcot WS is pretty darn crowded because of F&WF. But that is pretty much the case during the entire F&WF. I would say the crowds are clearly not at peak summer or holiday levels. :headscrat But perhaps closer to President's Week Or Memorial Weekend Crowds.

Being a seasoned WDW visitor...you probably know what to do and when to do it to avoid the throngs. So I'm sure you'll be fine with a little pre-planning.

Edited to add: The first weekend and beginning of the week is far less crowded than Thurs-Saturday. Most of the schools in NJ only have Thursday and Friday off that week. Some do have the whole week, but I've found that to be the exception rather than the rule.

hey we are booked for Jersey Week! It is the only week we can go for F&W, so I couldn't be choosy.

I think what Amy said is right, we're not all newbies here. I am really not worried. :Paranoid: We always get there at park opening and have a down pat routine, so we really will just tour like we always do. From what I hear, it is not that bad. Not empty, but not insane.

Thanks for the input. IF I can make a fall trip this year, that week would be the only week that I would be able to go AND make it to Food & Wine Festival.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it can work out!

You'll have a great time if you go! And we have always found the weather to be amazing that time of year. Warm but not hot/humid! Good luck...hopefully you'll make it and you can say "Hi" to all my neighbors for me LOL! This will be the first year in many years that we won't be doing anything Disney over Jersey Week!

Not all of us from NJ go that week. I'm going in October.
