I am wondering if anyone has participated in one of these.

When we found out that June 1st would be the only Fantasmic performance during our trip, we decided to go ahead and book this dessert party. Not all of the students stuck around to watch Fantasmic! last trip, I want to make sure they see it this time.

We will view the show from a private patio. I am wondering about the view from this patio, have any of you tried this?

We had a Fantasmic Dessert Party at our Disney Wedding.

Since the wedding was in the morning, we did an afternoon reception at CG, and the the dessert part in the evening.

Let me see if I can get some pics for you. I can also find some sample menus if you wish.

I have the PDF of the Dessert Party Menus. I can email to you if you would like. They are from 2007, but should still give you a good idea of what they offer.

Wow, what a great way to begin married life!

Your pictures are fantastic, Your ring bearer looks like a real character!

Thanks for letting us "attend" your wedding.

The patio we will have has a 100 person maximum, 40 person minimum, do you think yours was the same one?

I noticed that it appeared your guests were standing during the show, could you stay seated & still see the show?

Our castmember made no mention of menu options, here is what we agreed to;

Assorted brownies & blondies
rice krispie treats
assorted cookies
ice cream novelties
and beverages

At a price of $33.09 per person.

Thank you for the compliments on the photos :) We had an absolute ball down there for the wedding.

To give you some more info on the dessert party:

We had the small patio which has a maximum if 40 guests (but I believe they will let you actually have 50). From the sounds of it, you'll have the large patio. If I remember correctly, this is just on the other side of the small patio, so the view of the show should be very similar.

We were up high enough so that the guests could watch the show from their seats. Since this was the first time for most of our guests, they all wanted to stand at the railing and watch.

The most important part... the FOOD!!

We had the "Create Your Dessert Party" with three selections:
Apple Bread Pudding with cinnamon Ice Cream
Fruit Filled Crepes with Vanilla and Chocolate Sauce
Assorted Brownies and Rice Crispy Treats.

This was priced at $20.50 per person.

We also added in the Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
This was priced at $36.00 per dozen.

We handled the beverages as "Bill on Consumption". We offered Soft Drinks ($3.75 per), Bottled Water ($4.00 per), and Assorted Juices ($4.00 per)

I can still email you the other sample menus they have if you would like.

Seems the prices have really gone up, our beverage choices are ice tea & fruit punch , or coffee & tea.

Perhaps your rates were a bit lower because you held your entire wedding at WDW? Your menu seems nicer than ours even w/o the strawberries.

I don't think I need you to send me the menu's, I will ask our contact for any options available to us. I wouldn't want to know how much more things cost now, or about goodies that they no longer offer.

It looked like the friends you had at your reception were having a really good time, how many guests were there?

We ended up having around 35 guests.

We blocked rooms at Caribbean Beach so that everyone could stay together.
