F & W Cancellation fo Champagne Brunch??

We just returned from a 6 day stay at AKV and have a message on our answering machine that the Champagne Brunch on Oct 14 at the Food & Wine Festival has been cancelled. Any word on why? Will I get a priority at another event if I want to make a reservation now?

On another board a poster mentioned that she was told that they ran into some challenges but when she pressed Disney on what that meant, they wouldn't elaborate. So I don't think anyone knows why it was cancelled. To my knowledge there really isn't any sort of priority they could give you at this point. Those events that are sold out are sold out. They won't bump someone. And for those events that are still available, there isn't a need for a priority. Just call and book it.
