2008 Olympics WOW!

I just finishd watching the opening ceremonies of the 08 Bejing games on TV and all I can say is WOW. Politics etc. aside the spectacle the Chinese put on was awsome. I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been there to see it live.

When I was in Beijing last year... everyone kept telling me that I needed to go and see the Birdsnest. I heard about it on the flight, in immigration, waiting for my car, etc. I got to my hotel room, went to bed... and when I woke up in the morning, I opened my shades and I was right next door to the Birdsnest. :)

It was quite impressive to see. I would love to be there right now!!!

I've left the TV in the kitchen on all day, so that when I'm in the area I can see what's going on (or what went on 12 hours before I guess).

Last night....WOW....it was so awesome to watch the men's swim relay...can't believe they pulled a win out in the last 3 seconds...so cool to watch....GO USA!
