:headache: I understand (I think, LOL) that transactions have to be one way. For instance, I need to transfer some points to another member. I will need to borrow points at some point in the year. Does borrowing count as a transaction?

I guess what I am asking, can I transfer points and borrow points in the same use year??????

Yes, IMO you can. Transfers have to do with sending your points to another member or receiving points from another member. Borrowing your own points from your next year's UY is something you can do that is unrelated to transfers.

What Lisa said. ;) In addition, I do not believe there is a limit to transactions as long as they are one way. If you transfer in, you cannot have more than 3 times the number of points you own in your account. i.e., I have 150 points, I can never have over 450 in my account for one UY at one time. HTH!

I was not able to find this stipulation in the POS. (pgs. 41 & 42). If someone with a 50 pt contract wanted to transfer in 1000 pts for a couple of weeks at a GV, they should be able to do so.

Borrowing does not "count" as a transaction.

For more info on the ins and outs of transferring pts, please check out our page on it here:

I remeber someone being told by MS that they could not have more than 3 times their point amount last year. I guess this is when you ask for a new CM. If you're doing this, you may want to have your POS handy just in case. Thanks for looking that up Kim!
