Preschooler Bands... Magical Beginnings?

I either am calling it the wrong thing or am just not look in the right place....

Last fall at MGM (DHS, whatever!) they had musical acts for preschoolers.... like Dan Zane. Is that part of Magical Beginnings or called something else? I am trying to find out who will be there when we are there, if anyone. Does anyone know if they are doing that this year and where to find the info?

I also have been looking for this info. It was definately called Magical Beginnings. Another part of the program was a special morning extra magic hour at MK where just Fantasyland was open with lots of characters on hand. I can't find anything about it this year. Last year (or the year before) they had Dan Zanes, Doodlebops, Wiggles, and some other stuff at MGM during this time

I do believe last fall they had different performers includind Dan Zanes at the Playhouse Disney Live On Stage at HS. I think it was only for a few month & was already gone by the time we visited in Jan. I do also believe they then went on tour with the show. I remember that I had considered going in Feb but would have been a couple weeks after returning from our trip & decided not to. As for any current plan, I do not know.

I read a few months ago that they have discontinued the Magical Beginnings program. I think this is a shame, because my DD's really enjoyed it. I mean, where else can you play Lost Boy, Lost Boy, Pirate (duck, duck, goose) with Pater Pan and Captain Hook? This is a priceless memory for us and I'm sorry we won't get a chance to repeat it.

I did see a schedule somewhere for the musical groups for kids, but didn't pay attention to it because we weren't going to be there at that time, but it was not for September, when the magical beginnings was. I remember thinking that it was a different month, but I don't remember which it was. Sorry!

What a shame. If I remember right, it ran from mid-Aug through September. I am going next year the last 2 weeks of August and was hoping to enjoy Magical Beginnings.

OH, that is sad. I was hoping to get my girls to that before the were too old.

Thanks all for the info! I am really disappointed that they dicontinued it. I know DS would have loved it!
