Any thoughts on the presumed soon-to-come sale of Sea World and Busch Gardens?

I just hope when they do go that they're bought by the same comany, and they keep the current platinum pass arrangement. We live near Williamsburg, and enjoy being able to use the same pass here at home and at Sea World when vacationing.
Of course, the ultimate would be if Disney bought it. I doubt it will happen, but it certainly would be nice to have the Sea World bus pull right up to the bus stops at the resorts.
Whoever buys it, I guess the days of a free beer at the hospitality house will be ending soon.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!
That was always my favorite ride.
When we moved to Tampa in 1968 I remember going to Busch Gardens and all they had was the garden and a brewery tour. It sure has changed over the years. My nephew is a supervisor in the transportation area at Busch Gardens and mentioned this sale a while ago. He is really concerned on their future.

As a non fan of "Making animals do tricks in captivity" I have admired Seaworld for it's research and rehabilitation of sea life. More than once, when living in Florida, I remember injured manitees (etc ) that were treated for injuries and rereleased.
I hope whoever buys will be so ecoconscious.

Well I hope they do not end all their adventure camps as my kids are all going there next July for camp and this would suck if they do end them.

Wouldn't it be great if Disney did buy Sea World? I wonder if Universal has any interest in buying it.
I grew up outside of Cleveland and always had an annual pass to the Sea World there. I'm still sad about it closing and am sorry that I'll never get to take my kids there. I can understand why it closed, however, since they were only open a portion of the year. We're looking forward to taking the kids to the Orlando Sea World within the next year.
