View Full Version : NEWS: SSR Pool Slide Closed 9/8 - 9/26

MouseSavers is reporting that the SSR High Rock Springs pool slide will be undergoing refurbishment September 8 - 26. Guests can still swim in the pool, but the slide itself will be closed.

They picked a good time to do that as September is as slow as it gets at WDW.

I am bringing my parents down with the two, yes we now have a four month old, 6-13th. I was hoping to spend a few quiet days and the slide would keep the 4yr old entertained. OH I guess there is always next time. Guess we'll have to spend some time at the water parks.

The spray area was quite a hit with my 4 yr old. Plus you can pool hop. There is a slide at OKW and you can take the boat there.

Kind of a bummer. We will be there Sept 6th-13th for our vacation and my boys (9,7,6,3) would have loved the slide. Well maybe we will have to spend the 7th at the pool so they can ride it. It's our first time going to SSR.

Good idea about OKW!
