We will be heading down 1/2-1/9. We are on the wait list for 1/1 and am hoping someone(s) will be changing their minds so we can get in that extra day. We are counting down the days.:woohoo:

We have been busy working on our trip plans. We are doing the CP on the 27th. 9:10pm Dinner at California Grill on the 30th, then over to MK for pre-NYE fireworks at EMH until 4am. NYE we are going to DHS for the rock-n-roll fireworks. If the DVC Merry Mixer is available on any of our days, we will stop by that.

We are planning on getting the DDDP for 6 days... and stretch it over 7 days of meals... and use the the DDE card for the other 7 days. Here are our current plans... but we are still changing it a bit.

We have 'tentative' plans for January 18-23.

We won't really know till last minute if my FIL will be able to travel, he's in remission right now. They missed out on their Florida trip this past winter, and this coming winter they'll be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary, so we really hope he'll be able to go. It'll be the first trip also for BIL, wife and 2 kids. We're hoping to surprise the parents with something special like a fireworks cruise or something. Should be fun! :hyper:

Since I have no idea who else trolls these boards or how this stuff shows up on search engines, I'd prefer to not list the dates here, but would be happy to discuss January dates via PM.

The original trip was going to be our 10th Anniversary in May (we Honeymooned at WDW after we were married in May of 1999), but schedules are a bit nuts in May. I prefer the quieter season, anyway, despite the danger of the seasonal closure of attractions.

We have no huge plans for this trip, except to maybe spend a bit more time off property since we are driving.

We'll be at BWV from 1/14 thru 1/21:
- 8 of us in the 2BR - our 6 and a friend and her daughter.
- The DIL's will be at POR
- Another family (of 5) we're friends with will also be at BWV in a 1BR (cash).

We have ADR's for Crystal Palace on the 15th, and Chef Mickey's on 1/17 (dinner) and 1/19 (breakfast). No other reservations, as we don't want to be tied down since it's the first trip for our friend and her daughter (going on 3 yrs old) and we want to make sure they see as much as possible.
