Hello Everyone,

We're new here so please bear with us as we get the hang of how the site works.

Our question is: Has anyone booked a cruise other than a Disney cruise? We are planning an Alaskan Cruise for 2008 through the DVC. Any and all information would be very helpful. Our second choice would be a trip to Hawaii.

If you are younger, you might want to reconsider taking a cruise on HAL. I would go with either Royal Caribbean or Carnival.

From what I've heard, HA is the best for Alaska. I'll let you know after I do it in September.

We've cruised on Disney and Celebrity, and they're both great for different reasons.

Celebrity is probably the most upscale of the mainstream lines. In other words, it's not one of the luxury lines like Radisson Seven Seas or Crystal, but it has better food and service and a more elegant atmosphere than Carnival or Royal Caribbean.
