I know tough question but what would be the very first thing that pops in your mind when you think of each park?

closing my eyes and...

MK- Strolling down Main Street right before Caseys Corner and looking up and there it is! The Castle! :lovestruc

Epcot- Walking thru the international gateway making my way towards Spaceship Earth

AK- Just coming over that little lull and there is the Tree of Life and breakfast at Donalds!

MGM- Shopping at the Villians store! :)

For me:

Mk - The castle
Epcot - The Big Ball (yes we call it the big ball), riding Spaceship Earth and Universe of Energy
AK - Camp Minnie/Mickey and meeting characters
MGM - The hat

Good question. :)

MK - We took a trip about 3 years ago and something struck me as we approached the MK for the first time (in that trip) on the monorail. Just as we made the turn from the CR toward the train station I looked up and saw Space Mountain filling the window. That's a special memory.

Epcot - Seeing Spaceship Earth...from any distance. I even like the wand. (Sue me!)

MGM - I've always liked the retro-Hollywood style entrance plaza with the palm trees and so forth.

AK - >sigh< People are gonna hate me for this. The first thing I think of...and it is with some affection...is Dinoland. Yes, I know the "roadside carnival" theme is the antithesis of Walt's reason for opening DL in the first place. But it is such a unique place and the theming is quite good. I always chuckle when I look down and see the faux parking spaces striped on the pavement which highlight the nomadic nature of the "carnival."

Now, just to show that I'm not a complete Disney apologist for making the above AK comments, I think California Adventure is godawful. A LOT of people deserve to be slapped aside the head for that debacle. :hammer:

Ohhh, good one jiggerj!

MK - The entrance.. Not even teh train station, but the topiares after you get off teh bus. It always strikes me as "You made it!"

Epcot - WS entrance. ALways fetl like I was sneaking in from there.

AK - Since last trip, all I can think of is meeting Pooh-bear walking to DInoLand.

MGM - Star Wars ride. Need to spend more time there, but thinkign I was oging to get to see Ewoks had me very excited!

MK - going through Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and trying to read the words on the books :hammer:

Epcot - Listening to the music and watching the water jet patterns in the fountain

MGM - Listening to Aerosmith whilst turning and churning on the RNR coaster

AK - Walking around the Tree of Life enjoying the artistic work, and taking in the atmosphere

TL - Getting walloped by a large incoming wave during Surf's Up time :beaniepro

BB - Going down Summit Plummet with the question "what is actually real" :faint:

Great question

cheers

Easy peasy

MK: walking towards the castle first thing in the morning filled with excitement

Epcot: the lights at night strolling the world

MG: Checking out the hand and rash prints at the Chinese Theatre

AK: close up viewing of the tree of life. amazing!

Polynesian: walking the 'footpaths' with the Tiki torches lighting my way and the Hawaiian music coming out of the rocks.

Wow, good question

MK-Seeing the park for the first time each trip no matter if it is by boat or bus or monorail.

Epcot-Spaceship Earth

MGM-The AT-AT at Star Tours

AK-Coming out of the Oasis with the Tree of Life in front of you. It is like the whole park just grows out of nothing.

MK: "Stupid people! Thanx for flocking to the seven closest ticket turnstiles so I can use the ones on the end and beat you into the park."

Epcot: "Stupid people! Make a "peace" sign & stick you fingers in the opening."

MGM: "Stupid people! Put your card into the slot. Then stick your fingers in !"

AK: " Thank you Rain Forrest Cafe for have two turnstiles that very few people know about."

All Parks: "Stupid people. You know they're going to check your backback. Take it off, unzip it and have it ready BEFORE you're the next in line !!! "

First thing that pops into my head.....

MK - Yea, baby - I'm at Disneyworld!
EPCOT - Yea, baby - I'm at Disneyworld!
MGM - Yea, baby - I'm at Disneyworld!
AK - Yea, baby - I'm at Disneyworld!

Come to think of it, that just keeps running through my head from the time I drive onto to Disney property to the time we drive off.

MK= HAS to be the Castle and Mainstreet
EPCOT= Spaceship Earth, and yes, I MUST ride this every day we are at Epcot.
MGM= NOT the hat (hate that), but I'd say Gruaman's Chinese and the GMR.
AK=Kilamanjaro Safari with the tree as a close second.

KNWVIKING, I agree with EVERYTHING you said too! I sometimes think people leave their brains at home when they visit WDW!

This is sort of like Word Association, fun idea jiggerj!

MK: First thing I think of is the Haunted Mansion, I have gone on that as much as 13 times in 2 days (was there with a friend and we kept a count).

Epcot: Anyone here who knows me knows this answer--OFF KILTER!!

MGM: Since I've only been a DVC member a little more than a year, and used to stay at the Poly, I think about how cool it is to be able to walk to MGM from BWV. I love not being at the mercy of WDW transportation (I don't rent a car, don't want to drive on vacation as I drive to work every day). I adore that path to MGM and the excitement I feel as I go under the overpass and finally see the park entrance

AK: Wish it was more Disney Like is all that I think of. I don't care for AK.
