Just bought AKV yesterday!!!

I've been reading and learning here for quite awhile now and just decided to take the plunge yesterday. We are sooooo excited!!! Now what to do with all these points :ROTFL: We are already planning a possible trip to SSR in October and getting ready to plan our first trip home next May:jumpingbe . Now I just have to figure out when to do that. I think I can book it at 11 months based on my check out date, LOL... so much to learn.

Congratulations! I just got back from AKV and I love it! I'm so glad I bought there!.. If you have extra points to use, I would suggest thinking about concierge level for a few nights.. it was AWESOME!!!:jumpingbe

Anyone else hear from their guide about the AKV sale that started today?

Mine said AKV at $96.00pp (100+points), Current UY (2008) points, no MFs for 2008, all 2009 points and prorated dues from daye of closing in 2009. Double Developer Points good for 12 months (can only book at 7 or fewer months), and your choice of $8.00 per point, or an extra (3rd) set of developer points?

:ROTFL:I was ready to reach for the phone! Anyhow, apparently there is a new promo starting soon in addition to the ones that are currently available. We got the 2008 points, developer points, and $8 off per point. He also took my rewards number from my disney visa and said that there was a promo coming up that he would apply when it became available. He couldn't tell me what it was but I'm assuming it's some sort of disney visa reward points or something like that. We'll see. I'm waiting very impatiently to find out.:hyper:
