NEWS: Date Set for MO Meet at Doorway to Dreams (IL)!

Hi, Guys --

We have a date for the MouseOwners Third Anniversary Meet at Disney's Doorway to Dreams in the Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL.

The date is... Saturday, September 27th. The event will take place from 7 - 9 PM.

This promises to be a fun event, with food (maybe some Mickey Ice Cream Bars and Rice Krispie Treats), trivia, gifts, raffles, and more. We can pin trade, swap stories, and much, much more!

We have room for about 25 people at this event, so I'd like to know ASAP who's planning to attend. (It's possible we may add an earlier event on Saturday or one on Sunday if there's sufficient interest.)

So let me know!

I just checked fares on SouthWest, and it would be around $400 for us to fly there. I think I will hold onto the money, because it might get me 4 BLT points. :hyper:

I certainly would be interested in attending! If you are going to be opening up sessions earlier on Saturday or on Sunday I would like to be considered for those, but if not, Saturday evening is fine. There would be two of us attending.

There are lots of hotels inthe area...try the Marriott Courtyard or Spring hill Suites. There's a shuttle service right to Woodfield where the event will take place.

We are definately interested. There are 2 of us adults. Is it possible we will be doing anything with families also? We have an 18 yr old, a 16 yr old (who's a bigger disney freak than me :hypnotict ) and a 4 yr old.

I'm really pretty sure we're "closed for reservations" at this point, unless we move to having two separate events on that day. We're at at least 51, so I need to check with the DtD folks about an absolute drop-dead number. I'll get back to you guys when I find out more. I'm psyched that there's so much enthusiasm, though!! :bunny:
