Slept in until around 10. About this time the other families we are with headed out to the parks since thier children get up early and ours do not.
They went to Hollywood Studios to check out the Star Wars weekend.
When we got up and about we headed to Hollywood Studios to try and get on Toy Story Mania. We got there around 1130 I would estimate. Already FP were out for the day and the wait was 80 minutes.
We headed on around to backstage express food place and decided to head on over to the commissionary to eat since it was air conditioned. Had the cuban and it was good. DW had the hamburger and it was so so. Again typical counter service food.
After this we happened to run into one of the other families. We chit chatted and got our picture made with the cantena band from Star Wars. Then we parted ways again (This day was set up as a do what you want day that we figured would split us apart)
We then did Lights, Motors, Action. I had high hopes for this attraction and was disappointed by it. Maybe I had just set my hopes up too much - who knows.
Then we decided it was too hot and too crowded to hang around. We headed towards our dinner reservations. On the way out I checked the board to see the wait fo Toy Story Mania. 140 minutes...the ride is fun - but not that long of a wait full of fun.
Got to the buses...wound up getting split from my wife and oldest. The youngest (Who was asleep) and I wound up taking a bus to TTA since the bus to Poly that wife and oldest was on got full. I figured it would time out ok (Then Murphy law kicked in and a empty Poly bus pulled in after I got trapped on the TTA bus)
So got to TTA and thought that the walk was short enough I could make it just as fast as the monorail. Yea - mistake on my part. The walk to Poly was really short and all...but going into a resort in high tempature pushing a stroller with a sleeping child when you really have no idea where you are headed...yea - not overly fun.
So found Ohana's and the rest of the group got there. Had dinner. OH MY HEAVENS...food is AWESOME. Beyond a shadow of a doubt have to do again. It may join Chef Mickeys as a must do for every trip.
Then went to DTD and grabbed a few things. Back to the hotel and finish packing for the return trip in the morning. Was getting worried that we could not fit it all...but we selectivly decided what we could abandon in FL.
We unfortunately had to scrap plans to go to Ft. Wilderness for the campfire things on this trip...but such is life.
Thus concludes my trip reporting adventure. I doubt that
1) You would care to hear about my flight home
2) I will find the desire and motivation to write about my trip home
