DL Hotels on points

Im going to DL and using my left over points to stay. Im still waiting for the 09 point schedule to come out. My question is for those who stayed or know what were the points per room for 08 for suites and to which hotel using DVC points.? So i can get a general idea. Thanks.

You will need to call MS for the point values on the suites. They are not posted. but you can go to the member website for the 08 points on rooms. not sure if the 09 are out yet.

I talked to MS about 09 points for DL yesterday and they don't know what they are past Jan 2, 2009. She said she didn't know when they would get 2009 points.

I heard that people were still able to make reservations even though the point chart wasn't out yet last year. I didn't do it personally though.

IMHO it's going to be a while before they are out because of the VGC coming. We won't be able to use reservation points to book at GCH once VGC is done, so if they post the points through say Oct 09 only, that could be used as a an indicator about when VGC may be ready. So my guess is they'll hold off as long as they need to. Or maybe post PP and DLH only and not GCH? Who knows.

You can always look at the point charts from this year to get an idea. I am SUPER excited for the VGC to be ready. DH has our plan in motion to have some $ ready to buy when they start selling. :hyper: so for now we wait and save $.

I not sure they will take the points away once GCV are open. If there is only 50 rooms, why would they. I would think the demand is bigger then that for GC.

I hope you are right, I was just going by the way things are.
