Are all the rides with pictures available for the PhotoPass or are there only a few?
If only a few, which ones? We are thinking of doing this this year. :bountigge

We were there in feb and none of the rides pictures were photopass, but I have read somewhere :headscrat they were changing over. If I see anything I will post it.

We were able to have our Test Track picture scanned on our photo pass...

I have heard test track and something about mission space, but I would love to see ToT and R&R at DS to be on it but I have not seen or heard anything.:blech:

Do you have to pay for each ride... or can you have it just added to the DVD just like the rest of the pics?

Knowing Disney... I am pretty sure that I know the answer... so I am not sure why I am even asking. Maybe I am on good drugs today. ;)

We were told when we were there Nov. 07 that Test Track was a test run. The person that was there said that they were "looking" at expanding it to other rides. We had our princess lunch in Norway and after I had already paid for the DD's photo with Princess Aurora I was told that I could have had those pictures added to our DVD. That was the only other place where we could add photos.

You can put Test Track on your CD and that one is free.

Chef Mickey's if you buy the picture you can add it. I believe you can add the ones from CRT & SBD. Darn, I ordered mine minutes ago and I forgot to do that. Tusker House you can add if you buy it. I believe Mickey's BBQ is the same way.

You can preorder the CD and save $30. That is what we did.

woooooooo. that a good discount. where did you buy it and how. We waited till we got home and spent 125. bummer......we were planning on buying it all along. :mad:

With a the photo video option and other doodads on the Photopass webstite, I think Disney would make more money if they would put every attraction photo on Photopass and had even more photographers around the parks.

I'll buy one attraction photo if we're particularly goofy looking or something, but I'll buy the CD if I can put every attraction photo on it as well as a good collection of PP shots.

And, I'll be more likely to put together a photo movie if there were more shots than just the entry shots.

We had more than just the entry shots. We had shots in front of the TOT, some of the gardens at EPCOT, RNR, a few around in AK with EE or ToL in the background and more. I wanted day and night time shots in each place too.

We ended up with about 300 pics on our CD after I got done editing. Before we had about 135 taht they took from 3 days at DL and 6 days at WDW (you can put mulitiple trips on the same CD as long as you are within the 30 day period :dancingba).

We were able to get the TT pic with PhotoPass and add the same border as if we bought it there.

I think it was worth it, but I agree, I'd like to have all the ride pics on there too. They would probably sell a lot more of them. We'd probably get it again if they did all the ride pics on there too. As it stands now, unless we are going with a big group and we are going to split the cost, we probably wouldn't get it again for several years.

ITA. We were ther for 12 night with a couple of sets of friends coming in and out so it was well worth it. but for short trips or just us. not sure we would do it. jsut give them our camera and let them take a shot or ask someone.

This exactly parallels our usage as well. The only time we have purchased the CD is when we had lots of family visiting too. We would buy nearly every time if the ride pics were included.

I think it was a good deal. We had 500 photos on our CD or will when it gets here. I did plenty of editing. I think we had about 250 before my edits. But definitely more worth it with larger groups.

My kids have really enjoyed the special photos with Simba, Captain Hook, Stitch, & Tinkerbell. They thought those were great and have asked to look at them many, many times.
