I'm pretty experienced with the 'ol "early entry", Morning Extra Magic Hours....

But I don't really understand :veryconfu or have ever attended Evening EMH.
Do Different parks have longer EEMH??
Are EEMH nights really crowded?
Are EEMH 1-3 hrs? How long ??
Thanks for filling me in!!!:bigear:

I believe that most of the time EMH lasts for 3 hours. When we did EMH the parks were not crowded at all and the later we stayed, the less people were there. We really enjoyed the those times in the parks on our trip in May. We just couldn't make it to rope drop though

Yes it's always 3 hr when we go ( And we hit everyone of them)

Crowds can be hit or miss and thin out as the night goes on.

Rides are limited in some of the Parks and some shows have one or no showings.Good thing is Epcot keeps open most of it's rides .

Our trip coming up MK will be open until 4 am I can't wait and will need a mid-day nap fr that day.

I always look at it as I'm up anyhow why not get some extra park time in you can always just leave at anytime.

You can also enter at anytime during EMH ,we might be at another park close it down and then hit the EMH park.

Evening EMH are three hours more after the posted close. Likt the others have posted, the crowds are hit or miss. If your are going to MK, usually after the fireworks the crowds start thining. The real late EMH, like July 4th and New Years, the park will close at 4am.

If yu've never done EEMH you should also know that you need a wristband in order to get onto the rides after the official park closing times. Unlike in the morning when they don't let anyone in that is't a resort guest, the park is already full of "day" guests and they need a way to differentiate them. They start handing out wristbands arouond 4:00 pm usually - although that can vary. They usually have a line near the entrance and a few others throughout the park. If you get to the park early ask guest relations where they will be and what time they'll open. I recommend getting it early because as you get closer to EMH times the lines sometimes get pretty long.

We LOVE the evening MH. My kids are not morning people so the extra hour in the morning is not worth our while but we love being able to enjoy MK until 3 or 4 am and sleep in the next day. One of the main reasons we have always stayed at the resorts instead of "saving money" off site is because of the evening hours.

They have areas set up all over the parks to get your wrist band and then you just ride and ride and ride. Very little wait especially the later you stay.

ditto to all that was said above. Only people staying in WDW resort can enjoy AH or MH so that is a heads up.

lately both MK and Epcot are pretty busy during the first hour of EMH.

but hey go anyway.

do both AM and PM - if you can - go early to the AM park - then leave around 10 am - come back that night to PM park around 5 pm.

the time inbetween - swimming, shopping, eating, naping (definitely need a nap to do this)

All members of your party need a resort kttw card to get a wrist band, make sure you have all of them. I have had all scanned at times, then at other times, the CM has just looked at them.

We have always had a good time at EEMH. One word or warning about Epcot. WS gets really dark. It didn't seem like they left all of the lights on.

What if you get to the park REALLY late or after it has closed to non-resort guests, can you still get in?

Yes you can enter anytime During EMH .

We have gone after closing one park and just had about 1 hour or so left on the EMH
