Hello!!!

I am new to this forum and new to DVC. My DH and I had been tossing the idea back and forth for well over a year now. We even met with our guide to whom I have been speaking to for just as long for a tour during our Mardi Gras trip this year. It took everything in me to walk away without my DVC in hand.

Well, for Mother's Day this year, my DH decided it was no use to fight it any longer, and he bought me a 200 point contract at AKV. We did get points at Kidani, so my first vacation will be using my 200 developer points at SSR for Mardi Gras.

We look forward to our future at our new home. The time we have to wait till then is pretty much killing us.

We are already talking about a trip for next summer when I get out of school. We get out early - before Memorial Day.

My wife is also a brave teacher. Well, she has actually morphed into a brave kindergarten reading coach, but she is still a teacher. I think you'll like it here. We are also waiting for out first trip "home," having just closed on a contract at SSR. And we are waiting to hear from Disney's ROFR on our 2nd contract at SSR. (You'll be struck with "addonitis" soon enough!

Once again, thanks for all of the warm welcomes. I am already enjoying my stay.

I'm currently counting down to my first call to MS to make the reservation for AKV next summer followed by another call a couple of weeks later to book SSR for MArdi Gras.

God bless her. I could never teach anything in kindergarten. The "Brave" part has a double meaning. I am a free enterprise teacher at a local high school. The school's mascot is an indian brave.
