OKW - Handicap Units?

We start booking for our Goofy trip on Monday.

We're getting a studio from Thur-Tue for us. Thur-Sun for my parents and just Sun for my Aunt/Uncle and Gdad.

My Gdad is will be 89 and mobility is becoming an issue. Are there any HC units? Are there elevators?

OKW does have handicapped rooms. The bathrooms have bars near the commodes. There are no tubs in the studios. Rather, there are walk-in showers. Unfortunately, there are no elevators. You will have to get a first floor. All handicapped rooms are on the first floor.

That's not quite true. There are 3 buildings with elevators, and all are reserved for those with mobility issues. If you call and request that need for medical reasons, I'm sure you will be able to get either the elevator buildings or a HA unit. They do resere those ahead of time.

I think the 3 with elevators are the newest buildings, 62,63, & 64.
