I've read a lot of mixed reviews about dealing with GMAC, but they tend to have morer resales that I'm interested in. If anyone has had an excellent experience with GMAC and would be willing to refer me to their agent I would greatly appreciate it.

Another thumbs up here for Jackie.

I have also seen mixed reviews with GMAC, but they had the package at BWV that I wanted. I first contacted them the last week of July, 2007 and Jackie returned my call. We closed on our unit the last week of August 2007. I don't think it was even a full four weeks.

By the beginning of September 2007 I was making reservations at the seven month window for AKL concierge and we have three more trips planned as I write this.

I worked with a couple of other people at GMAC for status info or other small things, but primarily the entire thing was handled by Jackie. She is very efficient and does her job very well.

The entire procedure could not have gone more smoothly.

Both Jackie and Rachel would be excellent choices for DVC resales through International Properties GMAC Real Estate.

I've personally used Jackie as my agent and have nothing but great things to say about her! If you use her as your agent, please tell her I said hello.

Jackie and I speak somewhat regularly, and she was moved to another department a short time ago. However I received an email from her within the past two weeks, stating she's back in the DVC Department, if but temporarily.

I closed on my DVC membership through GMAC just last month. Rachel Thompson was a good agent. She used two email addresses throughout the process. I would assume that both go to her inbox.

In all truth, I found telephone to be the best way to contact her:

1 800 464 4201 x 7713 (or just ask for Rachel Thompson when the receptionist answers).

Rachel seemed to use email very well to send me information. However, whenever I needed to get a hold of her, the telephone worked the best. Most of the time she would answer without me having to leave a message. The couple of times that I left a message, she called back usually at the end of the day or on the next day. In all truth, I realized that it worked best, in the rare cases when she didn't answer, just to leave a message and try to call back periodically until she answered.

Yes, we are waiting to close on a contract with her. She has been terrific. She returns calls or emails in a reasonable time and has kept us updated every step of the way. I wouldn't hesitate to go thru her again.
