Hi everyone, trying to plan our first trip to DW. How fun and stressful too. I have booked a two BDR suite at Liki Tiki as someone we know has been there and liked it. Now I am second guessing myself. Any input? It would be 4 of us going DS 10 and DS 8. Just for sleep (DH dosent much) thought the two bdrs might be nice. Also I am trying to decide it going to one of the dinner shows would be worth it. We will have a car as (at least at this point) staying off site. We will be going to WWS for two of our 7 days there so wanted a place the kids could relax a little as they are going for a competition. Any! Any! Really any info would be greatly appreciated. Love this site.:clappingh Thanks. Jenny

I think you'll be fine. I've never stayed there but we deliver there occasionally. It's located in 192 a bit beyond the Animal Kingdom. It's got a feature pool the kids will like. I do think you need a car.

We stayed there several years back & liked it. We were in the newer bldgs which were nice. They have old units on property as well so try to get them to put you in the newer phases.
The small water park on property is really fun for the younger kids & is included in your stay.
I am sure you will have a great time. :sunny:

Friends of mine stayed at Liki Tiki in Feb. and had a two bedroom for 4 of
them, 2 adults, 2 kid. We arrived a day earlier than planned in Orlando
before our reservation at AK so we "crashed" with them. We are also a family
four. Two adults, two kids. The rooms were huge. The master bedroom had
a King bed and big, big bathroom. The other bedroom had 2 double or queen
beds and the living room had a pull out sofa bed. It had a full kitchen, dining
room table and another bathroom. Full size washer and dryer also. Their room was in the building overlooking the water park and therefore close by to access.
There is also a outdoor bar/grill for eating by the pool and all sorts of activities.
We did the bumper boats, small mini-golf and the kids did love the water
slides. Overall, it was a very nice place to stay (not Disney though).
But you should be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Also, it was literally
5- 10 minutes from the AK resort and the Disney World parks, resorts, roadways,
etc. You can get off of 192 easily to cut over so you don't go all the way
back to 4 to enter Disney World resort area. We are thinking in the future
before we go to the DVC resorts to spend a couple of nights there also.
By the way they are building a completely new section with a bigger water park
for future reference. Other friends of mine actually bought a time share there.

Have fun!
