Hi, All --

I'm pleased to announce the "new version" of MouseOwners.com

Now, when you go to our newly-redesigned home page (http://www.mouseowners.com) (http://www.mouseowners.com), you see a site that's simple and quick to load.

But that's not really what I'm excited about. What I'm really excited about is our new "Information and News" (http://www.mouseowners.com/info) section (http://www.mouseowners.com/info).

In it, you will see a news and information site that is almost completely integrated with vBulletin and the forums (it has its own search function at this point; that's why it's not "completely" integrated). It is simple and elegant. Unlike many other DVC and Disney sites, it requires very little clicking through oodles of bloated crap to get the information you want. And the search function works incredibly well, too.

I am in the process of adding pictures to the site, so please be patient with that.

I'm also aware that there will be little bugs along the way (there are a few now, in fact). If you could point out the bugs, I'd really appreciate it.

However, I'm really confident that the future MouseOwners.com will be able to meet just about all of your DVC informational needs!

The new home page looks great! I did have a problem getting to the forums section when I clicked under the picture, but when I clicked it up at the top it worked great! Good Job!

a quick question, how about the picture for the Forums, something more maching to the Title/Theme (maybe a mickey and Minnie talking???) Something like this??? :chat:
the bedroom with the towel fits more like Accomodations or roms or something. just another input. Great Job !!!

They're just DVC resort pictures. I wasn't trying to match them to the link, but I'll give that some thought. I'm just trying to avoid copyright infringements, etc. -- which is why I used pictures taken by regular people.

What was rather 'cool' was I had the old homepage up... so the transformation when I hit refresh was dramatic!

WHOA! The info section is so much like the bulletin board- I love it. I have never seen content formatted that way before on any website- I think it will be very easy to navigate - it appears to be very intuitive.

Thanks -- that's what I'm trying to achieve: something that is familiar and intuitive to folks who know vBulletin (and so many people do, since it's the software used by most of the well-known Disney forums)!

As I said previously, no bloated crud to get through! Woo hoo!
