AP rates out until 6/3

If anyone is interested, the AP rates are out until 6/3. I know most of you won't need them! Since we are once again out of points for this year, we had to get POFQ for SWW.

We booked May 13th at POP before we move to BCV on Sunday the 14th.

Thanks Stimpy!! Yeah...we're out of points for 06 and borrowing nearly half of 07 already :holymoly: . We need an add-on but DH said it's not in the cards this year.

We benefitted from them. We have a FW cabin for our first two nights with AP rate. We saved $100 each night off of rack rate. I think that's pretty darn good! :teacher:

Of course they only came out with them through 6/3. I may need a room the night of 6/8. Dying to know what might be available then, or if I'll end up staying offsite. :Pssst:

I called today as we are staying at POP the first weekend of Star Wars Weekends. ($74 a night versus $119 a night for moderates) My sons will be stoked when I get home and tell them!

I booked my AP rate via phone, but I know that it can be done via internet.

I was hoping that they'd come out for August already!! guess that's still months away!!

Does anybody know if I will be able to get an AP rate(assuming they come out)since I booked my room at the Contemporary with cash and points thru DVC??

Thanks for the number....got a Pop standard at $74 with tax @ $83.
Don't know if it is worth it or not for the one night before BWVs.....sometimes I think staying off site the first night is so cheap that I feel like I have bucks to blow once I get onsite.....Oh well, cancellation over 5 nights out no penalty.

It's getting closer! I might need to get my counter thingie again.

Believe that the AP cancellation policy is much more lax when booking by phone vs on-line.

Was unable to even get a AAA rate for wing room @ Cont. June 23rd (Dental Hygentist Conv. - open wide!), I've never paid rack yet - sick feeling.:sosad:

when do you think they'll release the block of unused rooms?
