Asked my Guide today about BLT Update #16 entry

I called my Guide today to let her know that I will be there at WDW next week & would love to meet her in person. Well, she informed me that she would love to meet me but she does not work onsite anymore, ( I guess she works from home now.)

Anyway I told her that I am hearing rumors that the BLT models are ready & waiting for the announcement:fingerscr

Of course she says that she has no knowledge of & has not been told anything about any possible additional DVC resort announcement. I told her that I am interested in adding points but want to see if or what the BLT rooms will look like before I choose to wait or buy an add on at AK. She said she would be happy to put me on that "list" of being informed of future DVC resorts.

Then, she stated " the only thing I can tell you is that none of the guides are allowed to take vacation in June or July.":Pssst:

Makes you wonder............ if I get caught breaking & entering at the DVC models at SSR (across the hall from the AK models) how much time in the brigg will I spend?

Oh, well, maybe we will hear something next week while we are there!

Then again, they may not be able to vacation in June or July anyway, since that's a busy time at WDW and DVC probably wants the full sales staff available then. I suspect none of them are allowed to take vacation around Christmas or Easter either! :)

I was thinking the same thing kinda like retail you can't take holidays during Dec and parts of Nov and January.

not to:horse: but will these rooms be that much nicer then the rest of the dvc rooms. I think the current rooms are hard to beat, and will it be a lot of extra points to stay there. anyone know

It's the whole Monorail/Walking distance+view to the MK that is the draw. I'm thinking that the rooms will be about the same?

I don't think the price will be any higher than it is now. I think it will sell fast though. When BCV were going on sale they were considered "wow" and they didn't sell for any more money. Mary

I need a quick lesson on how to pick locks........ being this close to the supposed BLT models accross from the AKL models is just too tempting!!:goodvibes

You know when i was at the member reception talking to a guide. She was beginging to tell me some "secrets" and then she stopped and said.. "do you know what the disboards are?" And My husband chimes in and says yes she does she is all over all of those message boards and mouse owners etc.... She then said with a smile in that case i cannot go any further. I was like "what????? I was a lil upset at my DH for a bit lol... Gosh darn it..

You are going about this all wrong.

1) Walk in wearing a white coverall suit with mask, carrying a geiger counter
2) Immediately put some radiation signs up
3) Tell the CM to quickly open all doors
4) when BLT model is open... push the test button on the geiger counter and say... This is it... you better leave the building immediately.
5) Take pictures
6) Pic up your signs, walk out and say "the building is safe now.

I thought BLT meant they were making BLT's part of the counter-service menus all over the resort! :shhh:

So, the 'no vacation in June or July' policy started yesterday. *keeps eyes peeled*
