Hi Everyone,

We're planning a FAMILY trip for next winter "January/February" and will be making 2 stops:
One week in Disney and one week at the BEACH. :Pinkflami

My question is: What are the odds of getting into VB at the last minute (on points)? We'll be needing 3 Inn rooms or studios.
We've never gone there before so don't know how busy it'll be that time of year.

I'd book it at the 7 month window but our plans are up in the air due to a family health issue and
we likely won't be able to make reservations till a month before we leave.

Thanks for any advice/suggestions you may have. :help:

You might have a problem if you are booking for Presdient's week and the Northeast is off from school that week. I have booked vb on a spur of the moment and not had a problem otherwise. Mary

Thanks Mary.....that puts my mind at ease....

Actually, we will be going before the crowds come for Presidents Week....
tentatively staying at Disney the first week in February and the 2nd week at VB.

I guess I just figured because MOST people flock to Florida in the winter time,
it would be that much harder to get into VB that time of year.

I think Vero's high season is really in the spring and then also some popularity in the summer. I would guess before Pres. Week it would be easy to get, but I've never tried so take my advice for what it's worth!

Thanks for your insight Lisa!

I noticed on your siggie you were at Vero Beach in April and stayed in a Beach Cottage?

What was that like? Do you have any pics?

I would LOVE to stay in one of those. :D

Depending on your UY, if you cancel at least 31 days before your date of arrival, your points return tp your current year, if you are still in the banking window, you could bank the points into the next year.

So, if your UY is good for this scenario ::sing:(...and Jupiter aligns with Mars...):tunes:, you could still book at the 7 month window to insure your dates, and cancel at 31 days if necessary.

Thanks for the tip Greenban.

Actually, we're not owners yet :bagovermy thus the last minute booking.

Normally I could help you, as I have a December UY, leaving me plenty of time to bank my points, but I am out of 2008 UY points.

Sorry,

-Tony
