We will be staying at BCV in October. Could someone supply me with directions to the nearest place to pick up groceries? TIA!

We stay at BWV and I like to head out to the Super Walmart on Vineland. Very easy to get to, about 10 mins away.

Terry... very nice job. You might want to add in the Character Wearhouse... that is a favorite stop of ours. It is in the Premium Outlet Center.

Done

Also anyone that whats to save this or copy it to your own collection feel free. If you want something added just let me know and I will try to find it and get it done for you.

I have even pulled it up on my PSP to get quick directions . I now have most of them imported into my GPS and hopefully I will have my new Cell Phone and that will have some GPS and full HTLM Browser on it as well for my next trip.

What cell phone are you thinking of getting? I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310 which has a built in GPS. I love Google Maps, Berry 411 which are both GPS enabled. I was sitting in the stands at Fantasmic waiting for the show... and I could see backstage on google maps... and the blinking dot was right on my seat :)

I also have TeleNav through AT&T which does cost $10/month. However, I cancelled Neverlost from my Hertz profile, which was costing me $8/day... so in the end I am saving my company money.

Once Apple/ATT support corporate push email... I suspect that my BB days will be over.

I have a BB 80 something something for work and a I870 (Nextel)for personal right now I run Google maps on both and have had Telenav on my personal one but cancelled it as I didn't use it enough.

I just sitched DD over to Sprint with the Rumor and it has GPS and works real well.

I will be switching over to Sprint when the Instinct (http://nowisgood.com/) comes out mid June ( 20th I hope). Then pulling our other 3 Nextels ( DW,DM and DsF) over sometime next year. I was going to go with another BB for personal but being on it all day ( do most of my work useing Apps on it) I'm Bbed out by the end of the day.

The 3G Iphone is tempting to make the switch and we get about 20% off from most carriers just been with Nextel for ever.

I'm really bad and am hardly ever without one my Phones I need them to do alot and the more I use them the more I find things I need them for.

Great Map! We also prefer the Publix on International Drive South (33). Not only is it actually closer to BCV (see the map!) than the one on Vineland or the Winn-Dixie north of Crossroads, it is easier to get to. Driving to Vineland involves a lot more stoplights.

Keep in mind that there are basic groceries at the Marketplace next to the BC lobby. If you're only getting a few things it doesn't really make sense to go off property.

There's also Goodings in the strip mall at the end of Hotel Plaza Blvd.

Yeah, it's not as cheap as Wally Mart or Publix, but it's closer.

AWESOME map!!

I always go to the Publix too. I'm not a big fan of Wal*Mart.

To Kim:

Do you think this could be made a sticky... it would be nice to have an easy to find resource for various popular destinations in the area.

I left that off as I would not recommend that to anyone:innocent:.

I know it's closer but for what they charge and the just bad CS and goods there is nothing Goodie's about them.

I also have a DL/CA and Vero that I'm building as I go along and will post them tonight.

They are expensive for regular groceries, but I like their specialty and ready to heat foods. I will only go there if I first go to the Winn Dixie down the street.

Plus it is easy walking distance from SSR/DTD. That makes it attractive to some. I agree it would be a good addition.

It's almost exactly a mile from DTD (intersection of Buena Vista Drive and Hotel Plaza Drive) to Goodings. That means a 1.25 to 2 mile walk each way from SSR, carrying groceries on the way back. Perhaps not for everybody.

You could take the bus to DTD from anywhere and walk... besides... you need to do something with all the calories injested on the DDxDP.
